What type of hair loss is it? male pattern baldness? Expertise needed!!!!

Hi all i really need all of your expertise in this situation. I like to keep all my options open. I have been to the derm and she did a blood work, all came back fine. She looked at my hair loss and said that it was do to seborrheic dermatitis because i get really flacky and scaly skin on my scalp which is painful and also eyebrows and on the sides of my nose. sometimes my eyebrows start to fall out as well. Can you guys please look at my pics and tell me if this is male pattern baldness or not? because my hair loss is pretty wierd its in the center of my head and not really the vertex or hair line but again ill let you guys be the judge. my pics are here http://photos.yahoo.com/bugsy2377

ps also look at the pic of the hair on the side of my head it looks like vertex. (it kinda looks like rows)

No, that's pretty much classic diffuse thinning on the crown area.

Never fear. You can be helped and you caught it in time. Get some Minoxidil, Finasteride and Nizoral and stay on it for 6 months. Then make another assesment.

I have this same situation except my thinning extends to my hairline. I also have that one side of my head that is thinner than the other.

Yes - check out Martin in the photo gallery. Some people (like myself), started with temple recession, which stabilized, then became diffusers many years later.

Hey guys thanx for the replies I went to another derm yesterday and he said that he thinks its ser. derm too. I asked him if it was male pattern baldness he said because of the thinning on the sides of my head he doesnt think so. He prescribed me loprox and capex for my condition. I also asked him if i should start using propcia and rogain to propcia he said no atleast not yet and also that rogain would irratate my condition. can you guys look at my pics again and tell me if you guys think it can be male pattern baldness.
