Not much talk about it. What's everyone's opinion ? Waste of time or helpful ? Did you like any specific presentations ?

To me it's clear as day that we won't have a proper treatment, maybe when we're in our 70's. I'm just here for the banter.

If hair loss research had a Hall of Fame, would any of the presenters be in it? Bunch of Dan Marino's and Jim Kelly's ( prayers for him) to me.

I read through the first few pages of the huge thread about it. I hope the people that paid for Desmond to go got the answers they were looking for. I personally didn't read anything promising, as in a cure that is around the corner.

Cotsarelis even admitted that his team didn't look at a sample that was completely bald! WTH? Listen to his presentation!

Progress was made but not a cure, obviously. Mission was successful as the plan was just to find the status quo. The only thing we had our hopes on was on follica, but they dissapointed very bad.

All we have now is Dr. Lauster's team. Or we can do a crowdfunding for better wigs.

We still have quite a few different groups trying to crack the code.

The advantage that the Germans have is with their bioreactor. I think a big piece of the puzzle was forgotten when everyone was so stuck on trying to create new HF's from cells that they forgot that the HF's need blood and nutrients to survive.

The Germans can do just that now with their mini bioreactor. No one has created a fully functional terminal hair follicle yet but maybe the only difference between a vellus hair and a terminal hair is the right nutrients. I don't know.

Colin Jahoda & Christiano are also paving the way - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGOsiVBsSOk

My thinking is that we should all focus on a mechanical cure. Donor doubling is a cure that takes some procedures for nw0 but splitting a hair 8 times is instant supply of hair for cure. Now some will say that this is bull.... but guys since there is some evidence of some donor regen things should or definetally will move towards an era of cure transplants.already dr amir yazdan offers donor doubling by partly extracting hair and leaving the rest re healing with factors widely known.this dr is ishrs google him.going on we have dr gho whom i dont know exactly but guys over btt are sure he is not capable of doubling and he in the meantime registers pattend of multiplying a hair 8 times.dr mwamba still experiments donor doubling.and for the hair congress dp injections give hair but they seem atrophic i am sure after a generation(a year or two) they will be terminal.but for now lets all focus to donor "multipication " which is around the corner.if guys like ********* adapt or evolve donor multiplying we r all getting cured at our neighborhoods.
