What's right for me?

Hi guys, I'm 24 male and quite new to hair treatments.

I have receeding hairline problem with low density frontal.

First of all, I have not started the finasteride/minoxidil combo yet. Since I'm still in early stages, I want to start off with shampoo treatments first.

After studying the board, I think I can agree that Nizoral is a must product I should be using. So What shampoo should I be using on the off days?

From the board it seemed L'Oreal vive for men Regenium XY, or Nano, or Revita seemed like the most popular choice.
Nano, Revita gives you actual chance of regrowth? while L'Oreal just makes your hair thicker? That's how I understood it.

So what shampoo should I be using for a guy with receeding hairline with low denstiy frontal problem?

Nizoral is not really a proper treatment for male pattern baldness. It is just a helpful supplement to a regimen. Using Nizoral on its own will not be effective. You need finasteride and maybe minoxidil as well. As for a regular shampoo, I used Revita 5 days out of 7. On the other days, I use an organic shampoo.

Hey,

you're making a big and ignorant mistake by holding off on at least researching finasteride. you should see a doctor ASAP and see if you are a candidate for it. it is much easier to maintain hair than it is to regrow it, and you will likely continue to lose hair on a shampoo-only regimen because you need something in your regimen to stop the fundamental balding process. something like finasteride.
