What's the best way to REstart taking finasteride?

Reading through the threads here, a lot of people were on finasteride with either no sides or some sides, then stopped taking it for whatever reasons, and then when they restarted taking it again things got much, much worse than before. Looks like reflex hyperandrogen sides or PFS in some cases.
What is it about restarting fina that seems to make this happen? Has anyone succcessfully restarted taking fina without getting smashed by sides?

Bump. Seriously, a lot of people write that they were fine on fina, but after stopping and then restarting it then they were hit with terrible side-effects (either reflex hyperandrogenicity or PFS). Someone please share their experience and/or thoughts on the matter!

I don't think anyone has a good answer. I'd probably start at low infrequent doses and just go from there.

Thanks for the response. It's disappointing that finasteride has been around for so long but the incidence of side-effects is still not properly understood.

Based off the Hair Loss Show on YT. They recommend adjusting the dosages to half, EOD, etc. You can probably google some of the dosage curves too, 0.5mg is nearly the same as 1mg. 0.25 was somewhere around 50% inhibition IIRC
