Hi everyone,
I am 25 and have somewhat of a weird balding process going on. People have told me I'm a NW2 in the front and a NW5 on the crown.
I have been on Minoxidil for 3 months now. Haven't noticed any MAJOR shedding but lately I am seeing less hair on my keyboard (1 or 2 hairs compared to 10). If I am not experiencing a MAJOR shed does this mean the product isn't working very well for me?
I am also considering starting finesteride and am a little concerned after reading people's posts saying that they shed for months and months and never saw any of their hair come back. I have been thinning for a while (there's JUST enough hair up there to give the appearance of full coverage from a front view) so I am afraid that starting it will cause my hairloss to become REALLY noticeable.
If you experience a shed, are those just thin hairs that will come back thicker anyway as long as you continue treatment? Or do those hairs just "suicide" since they were miniaturized anyway and you never see them again?
