When is male pattern baldness cured? What are the criteria for it?

Single or multiple treatments? Single treatment with multiple phases?
One occasion or continuous treatment?
Topical, oral, surgical? Combination?
Full or partial hair recovery? 100%, 80%, 50% of lost hair recovered?
Guaranteed that the treatment works or %? If %, what cutoff?
Which Norwood can be saved? 7? 3-2? What is the cutoff?
Age limit or any age?
Affordability? Can anyone get it?

What is a realistic 'cure'? What are we actually hoping for here?

"cure" could be considered a treatment by early norwoods 2-4 that can halt all hairloss and filled in with transplants

"cure" could be considered something by all norwoods that regrows all hair lost

for me a cure could be a) HM - unlimited hair donor, as if you could pluck a hair out of the donor, implant it on the scalp, then the donor hair grows back; in a few months you can do this again. a few years of this and you could have a full head.

but a proper cure would be a pill or a cream that reverses whatever causes the follicle to shrink.

i guess society at large would consider a "vacination" a cure - e.g. get this injection and your DHT receptors on the follicles are destroyed = you will never go bald - but that wouldn't help us who have already lost the hair

Male pattern baldness is cured when there isn't male pattern baldness. If they can't figure out how to do it with treatments, I suppose gene editing will be the next big thing.
Gene editing brings up a lot of promising possibilities.
I know a good place to start.

I guess everyone is different, for me, I a cure would be the shedding and loss to stop then at least we have transplants to sort it out cosmetically

1. juvenile hairline (method doesn't matter)
2. time travel machine

balding years = wasted years

even if cure will come in my 30-s this isn't a cure for me since I lost plenty of years as balding corpse

Time machine - Your Mother getting fucked by Chad who is currently serving time in the penitentiary. Instead she got toupee tricked by some beta provider who used his resources as a way to pull her in, when she was on the verge of becoming a single thirties cat lady.

I will only be happy when there is affordable treatment for ordinary folk and that they can reverse there hair loss without drugs with strong side effects.

Hair Transplantation is one of the ideal ways for this.

a PERMANENT full head of hair

Modern treatments tend to work okay if you catch it early enough, but popping medication on a daily basis to maintain is not a "cure"

Yeah but if you play your cards right you can just trick your mom into a conjugal with the chad and keep the wealthier bald dad and get the best of both worlds!
