When you take finasteride (at night or morning) ?

I started Proscar (1.25mg x 4) yesterday and I wonder when is the best time of the day to take the pill?
When you take it? at mornings or at nights and does the food has any impact on absorbing it? (as I know no, it can be taken also with food)

Take it in the evening as it induces some tiredness for many. Usually any meds they recommend to take after a meal..just don't take on a completely empty stomach.

i disagree take as soon as you wake up when your test levels are the highest, ive read many times that the doctors over at baldingblog.com recommend this action. and to my knowledge propecia shouldn't be making you tired never saw that as a side affect would hate if it did that to me but i been on 6 months and still going strong with energy.

Morning vs evening use of Propecia should not make a huge difference. It just makes sense to me to take it upon awakening in the morning when the testosterone levels are highest.

But wait... If your T levels are highest when you wake up, wouldnt taking it at night be advantageous because it would prevent DHT formation as that T level builds up?

guys it doesnt matter....once your dht levels hit their new steady state levels they will stay there as long as you are taking a pill every day....your levels are no fluctuating day by day.

I take it at night cuz mornings are too hectic for me and sometimes I would forget to take the pill.

You can take propecia with or without food. It says so right on the box.
