Hi all,
I have not been browsing this site for a year now.. Got a haircut, but some stipes in it and got a girlfriend..But its going the pattern, but not so fast so am happpy with that.

What have happened when I was gone?

Anything revolutionary that I can put on top so that I dont need to worry about it in the future?

Where are we now?

one minor mod to that - they are going to announce the *interim* results next Tuesday, not the final results.

but yeah, that's the big thing we are all waiting for right now. Other than that, not much has happened since you've been away.

Hello all. I'm new to this forum but a regular on Hairsite. 37 y.o. woman, diagnosed w/ primary Telogen Effluvium & secondary Androgenetic Alopecia.

A poster on Hairsite referred me here, claiming that this forum is especially good for finding out what the future holds w/r/t hair loss treatment.

I'm hoping someone would be willing to point me in the right direction, be it linking me to the best threads from the archives on this board or just giving me a few keywords I can Google regarding the most promising research. An article I read from 2003 on cloning? I think they call it hair seeding? said that it was about 4 years from becoming a reality, but a dermatologist I saw said more like 5-10 years from now.

The one thing I'm not so interested in is transplantation, since I understand that doesn't really work for women, or at least the derm told me it wouldn't really work for me.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate forums like these.
