Where do I go from here?

Hey guys,

I'm 21 years old and have been thinning in a diffuse pattern for some time now. I have been on finasteride for 7 months now (6 months of 0.5 mg and 1 month of 1 mg) along with nizoral 1% (3 times per week), biotin, and a multivitamin daily.

Here is my hair right now. I have a tan during the summer months which has helped with the appearance of the hair.



Any of advice to what I should add to my regimen or if I should change anything? What do you think is the best type of haircut for this kind of thinning?

I was planning on adding minoxidil after 12 months of finasteride.

You can try adding minoxidil 5% - you can order it on eBay. I use Kirkland, which is really cheap (40 dollars for 6 months supply). I started using it 4 months ago and it seems to be helping me (less hairloss, don't know about regrowth yet, that will take some time).
You can use it safely while using nizoral & propecia.

As for your haircut: keep it short, like this. It helps the overall look if the hair on the sides is a bit shorter than the hair on top. It's called a Caesar cut.
