I seriously don't get you people panicking over nw2 or write doomsday prophecy messages as the one above. Nw2 is nothing bad or something that accquires fast treatment or whatevre. There are woman with nw2 hairline out there. You can start treating it when u go beyond.

The biggest thing you have to look for is if male pattern baldness runs in your family. Does it run in your family, OP. If it does I recommend hopping on Propecia and Rogaine right away. I made the mistake of thinking that NW2 is safe and didn't pay attention and NW3 crept up on me, now I am in a race against my hair loss. I would recommend any NW2 who has a family history of hair loss to jump on meds just in case.

What trips me out is my dad is literally the only person in my family who has suffered going bald as far back as I can personally find or be told but he became your typical nw4 by his mid thirties and has stayed exactly the same
It's not a issue of if I will go bald or if I'm trying to get treatment just wanting to know where I lay at this current moment because I feel like my brain tricks me into thinking it's better or worse on different days or even in the same day so a solid area of where im at would give me a little relief i guess

LEL you will be ruined if you go bald, you do not have the face for it unless you like looking like a cancer patient. Gotta get on dat finasteride and nizoral 2% thrice a week.

For me it's look more than a Norwood 2 Maybe Norwood 2.5, definitely not a Norwood 1.5
Have you gone to the dermatologist?

Thick NW2. You could start by applying minoxidil only to your hairline once a day.

I get what you say. Yes, I have seen woman that do have some kind of hairline that resembles a Norwood 2. But, in male it's almost always a sign that they might have male pattern baldness while woman they're not.

Minoxidil is sh*t and he'll begin to lose density behind the hairline without finasteride. He should get on finasteride and nizoral 2% and there's a 90% chance of maintenance for at minimum a few years.

Nw2 is strange. If you were a Norwood 1 and went to a nw2 then it's a sign you have male pattern baldness. But some people go "directly" to a nw2 from their juveline hairline. I was one of those who jumped from my boyish hairline directly to a nw2 at age 17.19. I am today 27 and have the exact same hairline. If you notice a change in the nw2 then try to get a treatment.

What i'm trying to say is; some people have a natural nw2 hairline/scull shape without it being a male pattern baldness. But yes, it can also indicate u have male pattern baldness.
