Hello, my name is Justin and I want to share my story. It started when I turned 22 and started taking anticonvulsants for a condition that I have. A couple of weeks into taking the medication, I starting shedding a massive amount in the shower, to the point where the drains would clog every time I would take a shower. I started to worry, and consulted my neurologist about my hair loss, and he stated that it could be possible that the medication could be causing this, and thus I switched medications. I have been on the new medication ever since, and noticed that the severe shedding has stopped. Though I have noticed that my crown has started to thin and my overall hair is not as thick as it used to be. I am in an odd situation, since I want to think that the medication was the catalyst for the hair loss, and people have reported that it does cause hair loss, but many have reported that once you stop the medication, your hair should return to normal, and it obviously has not. This has lead me to believe that I might just be suffering from normal male pattern baldness since my father also said that he started thinning around my age. I have not the slightest clue as to where to start, or if I am too late to save my hair. What do you guys recommend?
