Where to start research or find resources on SMP (scalp micropigmentation)?

Hey everyone -
Just wondering what are some good resources/recommended sites to get started on researching SMP (scalp micropigmentation)?

I'm looking for a high-quality and subtle one, not focused on any specific country. Looking for non-biased resources and forums. Would be open to slightly biased resources if (and only if) they are very informative. Let me know some good sites to get started (since we don't really have an SMP section here).

Thanks in advance!

I researched the topic a couple evenings and the central problem is this:

the pigment breaks down. I think without exception

so the smp gets blurry, or even blueish

when you have a touch up they just tat over the blurry stuff and it gets less and less realistic each time

getting it removed comes with the risk of bleaching ur skin permanently

hope this helps

The reason it turns blue btw is that in nature there are only three colors. Black is very dark blue. So when it breaks down it gets bluer. They claim the new colors don’t have that anymore but I’d be skeptical

Fascinating - I hadn't even known of this. Thanks for the info!

Looks like I need to be asking what pigments (brand, composition) they use, and if they have any long-term pictures of their work.

If they don't have that info, this is not a long term solution. I was looking into SMP + transplant, for the SMP to add the illusion of density.
