For 2012 the following are running, and the Dems, Reps, and Independent have equal chances of winning. Libertarians and Nader are running too. Which do you choose?

Independent candidate, with the platform below this list:
Party line Republican like Mit Romney
Party line Democrat like Bill Clinton
Libertarian, even if they don't have a chance
A different third party even if they don't have a chance
Would not vote
One of the other third parties, even if they did not have a chance.

Independent:
Strong Fiscal conservative
Pro-gun rights
Pro-choice to 5 months, Pro-life after.
Separation of Marriage consecration and State
Pragmatic about drug regulation (decriminalize, but tax to pay for rehab of hard drugs, and have age restriction)
Pro-muscular military
Drill for oil in South Dakota. Buy 3/4 dividend stock to speed up drilling with federal money, but leave voting stock to private US citizens only. Drill so much we can support ourselves, and then outlaw importation of oil from the middle east. Let the free market dividents reduce our tax burden later.
Willing to buy rainforests from Brazil by giving them monthly food and oil payments as long as there is no burning or chopping. Or would outright buy them if we could actually protect them from illegal chopping.

The independent is my platform. Just wondering how many other people share that platform. I think a big part of the reason why many democrats are democrats is because they value gay rights more than lower taxes. My goal is to get the republicans to drop the conservative christians, and push for the compromize of just having states deal with civil unions for all, and leave marriage consecration to churches and individuals. Unless they want to drop the religious conservatives all together.
