Hey all. I wanted to know if you guys could give me some shampoo and conditioner recommendations.

I currently take Propecia and use Rogaine Foam twice a day.

Right now, I'm using Nioxin shampoo every 2-3 days and Tricomin "restructuring conditioner" every morning. I'm 24 years old and have always had soft, fine hair, but it has been thinning out on top for the last 3 years (since June '03). My hairline is still intact, and my hair is wavy and about 6 inches long. I wear my hair pulled back with a hair-net that has had all the netting cut out.

My question is what shampoo and conditioner should I be using and how often?

I'm thinking I should switch over to Nizoral and use it every 3 days. Pre-washing with a generic baby shampoo also sounds like a good idea. Should that be done only every 3 days with the Nizoral? Any other ideas or recommendations?

What should I use as a conditioner? and should I be using conditioner daily? My hair is wavy and tends to get tangled pretty easily after I towel dry it.

I recommend nizoral twice or thrice a week and nano shampoo three times a week.

I use Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Shampoo, which is sort of expensive, but it prevents me from getting oily skin the entire day.

Also, I sometimes use an organic shampoo by Avalon that has Peppermint in it. It's supposed to help "invigorate" the scalp. I don't know, but it leaves my hair feeling good and I can actually style it.

As for Nizoral, I used to use it, but I've recently stopped. It was beating the crap out of my hair and I really wasn't seeing any results from it.
