There is likely a connection, right? Excessive sebum is linked to high dht
Certainly when my hair loss started I got the "itch" and during puberty I always had painful pimples on my scalp and greasy hair. Interesting I no longer have that "itch", sometimes makes me wonder if the damage is done in a short time period but the effects takes years decades to slowly destroy your hair.

I did. Most whites losing hair look exactly like that when first losing hair with bangs. It's the lack of quality that comes maybe two years before active hair loss. If it looks worse now long than it did say two years ago, your best hair days are over and I know it sucks because chicks reach their best hair at about the same age.

Is my hairline receding guys ? I’m fkin scared
A little but the quality is very poor even if you don't lose anymore. You might not go bald though. I know guys with dry brittle hair with full coverage. You can tell the difference by looking at the moisture content of the individual strands.

All DHT artifacts. Yes, the moisture content of the hair will decrease over time. If you hair looks best slightly damp before dry, then yep, your best hair days have passed. Moisture content/sheen is a major indicator of incipient hair loss and miniaturization.
