Who Has Experienced Propecia Induced Gynecomastia?

Finally went and bought propecia thinking all is going to be well and last minute the freakin pharmacist tells me that a whopping 20-30% of people who take the drug experience gyno?!?!? i am now very discouraged and feel as though i just wasted money considering i have some serious doubts now. Gyno is a b**** and from what i understand does not simply go away once the drug is discontinued. its permanent.... Has anyone experienced this? Not sure what i should do tbh and am feeling really sad about this.

yeah i have gyno due to use finasteride. i stopped finasteride last year for 7 months and my gyno was gone. but obviously my hair started losing again so thats why i started using finasteride again and my gyno came back again as well.
i guess the only cure is surgery or to stop using finasteride.

Was this confirmed by a Doctor as gyno?

no. i just noticed. because i know my nipples and breasts. it is not a big gyno but when i wear a stretch t-shirt it bothers me of
appearance of nipples. but yes i haven't gone to a doctor with this problem yet.

Simply having nipples poke through shirt doesn’t equal gyno... did you have puffy nips or swollen tender nips?

yes a bit puffy but not so much. as i said before it is not an advance type of gyno. it is quite small. if it was a big gyno i would stop using finasteride immediately.

Gyno is hereditary. That's why some get it and some don't. Also gyn is a hard lump, NOT puffy or sensitive nipples. You can still take your finasteride or dutasteride and counter gyno before it develops by taking arimidex or aromasin a few times a week

DONT use aromasin, that will f*** up your hair. Either use a SERM or Arimidex (Anastrozole).

Sorry buddy but your not even an adult. I'm sure you are seeing some scalp and freaking out! Your honesty to young to be on meds. Your body hasn't even finished developing. You need to learn to deal with things that life throws at you! Your skin, body, and hair will change as you age and there isn't much your going to be able to do about it. And don't pretend your a victim and say your being bullied! I swear the whole world losts its balls!!

I can already grow a beard and my voice is deeper than probably everyone else's is here. Im middle eastern(Persian) btw so thats probably why.

Regardless if your voice has changed or you can grow a beard, that doesn't make a man. Men can continue to develop for up to 26 years of age.

No your not and hair isn't everything! You'll survive. I did and most others. Get a hair system if your so worried. At least its reversible unlike a transplant or playing with your hormones before your body is ready
