Hi folks, loving all the threads re Intercytex. A while back I was reading about the best way to save up for the treatment - and I thought - there can only be one answer, buy shares in Intercytex. If the treatment works then those bad boys are going to skyrocket. If not, well, in all the disappointment you aren't going to worry about some money going south either. I am absolutely no financial expert and don't take my word for it but I promise you - before I had shares it was exciting checking their progress - now - well it is not exactly 'edge of your seat' but definitely not lolling around in it either. Incidentally, when are they going to start the Phase II trials, better be soon else I'm going to have to have words.

I woudn't say that's the only answer, but that's not a bad idea.

This isn't just a smaller iPod or a higher-definition television these guys are working on. I'd say an investment of 1K would turn into at least, at least 5K.

I think I will invest 1K in their stocks when Phase II trials begin, and then another 1K when Phase III trials begin.

Interesting. But keep in mind that the scale is off. I mean, looking at the height of the blue line alone, it might appear as if ICX shares has plummetted down to 25% of what it was in Feb 2006, but in fact it has only gone down from a peak at 120 at the beginning of Feb, to 100 in mid August. This still isn't good - it's a frickin' 20% decrease! But it's not as bad as the chart indicates at first glance.

Wonder what happened between Feb and August? Is oil the main ingredient of their products? =)

Maybe with the price at a low, now is a good time to buy?

I don't get into stocks. Don't even dabble. But I'd much rather invest $1,000 worth of ICX stock, in support and hope of their hair restoration product, than invest in, say, a tobacco company, even if smoking was on the rise again.

Thanks for the chart.

Another thing with Intercytex shares is their exchange volume is very low, so any sale/purchase will affect the share prices a lot more than say a popular blue chip stock.
