Why would you be on anything? You don't have hair loss. Just a big forehead and wet hair.

Honestly yes it could be the start, was the same with me. It'll be years before you start to notice a difference in your hair though. Just live your life, there will be plenty of options in 5-10 years if you end up needing them.

Different ethnicities are more/less prone to hair loss. Caucasian being the worst

I remember when I was a teen, every one at my age was complaining about " hairloss " but just me went bald. You have tons of hair , and don't look like thining , at least not what you can see on that photos. But is your dad bald ? yours grandparents ?

dads bald my dads side balding is very bad which is why im worried even though my mums side is fine

I saw this post and I just couldn't help but comment.

I am not an expert, but some kids let their hair grow out to a size where the shedding is clearly noticeable. You will shed hair regardless of the size, the only difference is that longer the hair more you will notice it. Plus, you are using the wrong type of comb. Apparently your hair is thick and wavy, and you should be using a wide toothed comb to reduce the breakage and the hairs pulled by traction. Using conditioner may help the situation, because it makes your hair soft and easier to comb through.

Some guys wash their hair everyday, which isn't a right thing to do, and I'm saying this from my own experience. Back then in 2019 I was washing my hair every single day with a known brand (Head N Shoulders) and the result was a dry scalp with lots of shedding. Even if your hair is greasy you can get used to it just stretching your washes. Start with washing every other day then every two days... It worked for me.

I guess if you want hair, you need to treat it in the best way possible.

For that photos, I cant see any active male pattern baldness. I suggest you to take photos for you every 2 to 4 month and compare it, you will see ( you an also post it here ) if you are receding or not.
For now, I will not do anything.

No. Seriously even if you are in the absolute start, you won't notice a bit of difference for at least 5 years. You have crazy thick hair and it'll stay looking good for a long time.
