But what would that even change? You want people to feel bad for you? For what? For most negative condition/disease people will always downplay it unless they have it themselves. Unless you have cancer or you are an obese woman, people don't care.

if we had evidence that hairloss would cause depression that would be good to spread awareness and eventually might lead to more financial ressources for hairloss researches
after all we have good hints that hairloss is a big hit for psychological health
1. you lose basically a bodypart which can be dramatic for your selfimage, selfworth and confidence
2. impact on dating/mating: its not a secret that hair has an impact on this. people with hair are perceived as more attractive and dynamic. you have more options and a higher success rate. we know from studies that deep personal relationships and love are the most important factors when it comes to happiness and life quality. you cant buy these kinds of relationships, especially love. im sorry but when it comes to love mutual physical attraction is more important than your bank account, so just providing for a 34 single mom who just sees you as a financial parachute before she hits the wall/bottom wont make you happy (btw im not sayin bald men cant be attractive, its ofc possible if you have a nice face and broad frame. however for many average guys hair is a deal breaker, the difference between a happy family life and a bachelor appartment in your 30s)
all this will cause stress and will lead to elevated cortisol lvls which negatively influence your personal physically and mentally health

You are a dreamer mate. I aggree with you 120 per cent on the body part but the Dating one, no one outside of people with hairloss (hell even people with hairloss think they had 0 impacts in dating) will agree on that your dating/matting chance are impacted by dealing with hairloss.
So what about manlets? What did you do about a 1.60m guy? His self-image is fucked up as well as dating chances are down a lot.
And you have to realize that outside of "red pill" communities, most men are happy to have a single mother or dating a slightly obese girl. They simply don't know better. And we still have the sexiest men alive called: "Jason Statham". He is bald!

dont get me wrong - companionship is so important - if you dont have any options even an obese single mother of two is better than nothing. however ... better than nothing isnt ideal for your personal happiness
and to short people. we already know from surveys short guys earn statistically significant less than tall people and so on.
and my point is still valid - we have studies about every bullshit but not about this topic
