Why aren't you guys excited with stem cells research?

I've searched it here but I found very few topics about it, with even fewer replies.

Why?

It's Follica who is supposed to be doing that research, and yes, we are very excited about it. But still skeptical because everything with hype ended up being a dud. But yes, there is still hope.

I'm pretty sure it's because most of us prefer to talk about things that have been proven to work. So even though the development of new therapies is interesting and we definitely would like to see them work (a cure would be even better), speculation unfortunately doesn't do much good for our hair. If we don't have expectations, we can't be let down.

Sticking to what works until a cure comes along is the best mindset, I think.

Tweak your search a bit...its been discussed a lot but its all talk talk talk...most have lost a lot of hope. It was "a few years away" when I joined....
