Hey guys , why do minoxidil user fall below placebo after stopping the treatment ? I would understand the fact that they reach pacebo , because of the damage of dht , but why do they fall so much below placebo ?

I'm assuming that the Minoxidil users go off it at the 96 month mark? It's not totally clear from the chart.

not sure that i trust the chart... even if it resulted from a solid study, which is not clear here as its just a chart, it could be wrong.

I don't buy that chart. That chart doesn't represent an individual response. You're telling me that in 12 weeks you go from way above baseline to way below? Doesn't make sense

this study always scared me . I know that if you stop minoxidil you have to go to the placebo level , because of dht , but why way below placebo ? like a telogen effluvium , attacking the hair that was healthy. this is scary .

i have several studies which said that whn you quit you've got a severe drop in haircout and weight . I hope that doesnt apply to those who are also taking a dht inhibitor.

Minoxidil accelerate cellular aging and lots of factors that we don't know about.

This is why I think that it has to be used in conjunction with fina/duta to prevent further damage.
