Why do people care about receding if you can still grow normal healthy hair?

I don't really understand this. Since about 6-7 years ago all my frontal hair has been miniaturized, every year the hairs get smaller and thinner in the hairline area. The thing is. when I was able to grow these hairs long enough to cover my forehead I didn't care about receding at all. I've seen people with norwood levels much much worse than mine but their looks just aren't affected because they can just grow hair over the lost areas and it looks perfectly fine.

I don't mean to say that no one should do anything about their hair loss, and especially extreme hair loss but I see people posting on here like they have already lost their looks when they still have healthy terminal hairs that are slightly receded. I just don't get it. I personally only notice receded hair lines with people with short hair, so why doesn't everyone just grow it out and style it a bit?

Because you will reach a point where you cant hide it anymore. So better start early and wear it the way you want

Because a receded hairline destroys the frame of your face and makes you repulsive to women. You're better off having a bald spot on the back.

Depends on how advanced the recession is. You can still rock out a recession with enough hair.

I agree with the OP. Someone can actually look better with some recession. Hell starts when you're thinning and eventually end up looking like Lars Ulrich.

Hair behaves strangely for some people. It's not always as simple as growing think hair and coming it forward. For me if I do that then as soon as the wind blows or just through natural movement suddenly 2 big white bits of skin at the temples are exposed.
