Why do people without baldness also shed miniaturized hair?

I just want to know why do people without male pattern baldness also shed sometime minaturized hair,in the site of dr rassman it says that this is normal and I found it true because I found in my sisters and mothers pillow miniaturized hair and they have great heads of hair,can someone explain this to me

It could be their hair around the hairline, those hairs are shorter and thinner by nature, not necessarily "miniaturized"
