A lot of people use it topically and swear by it. However I read reports of oral use of castor oil. About 1 to 2 mL per day has shown actually re-growing hair. Has anyone experienced this and know anymore about it?
Do you have results?I'm not applying the castor oil topically I'm eating about one milliliter a day. I'm surprised there's not more talk about it consumed orally as opposed to topicallynot apply topically.
Thanks you very much, i will go for 2-3ml per day i think.I've read some good results from oral castor oil for growing some hair here and Derek from More Plates More Dates said that one of his buddies started taking 3 ml daily to improve his beard and he ended up with a good beard and some slight regrowth at the hairline. Haven't read any conclusive studies but am currently considering going this route along with finasteride+keto shampoo since the oil is dirt cheap and more convenient than microneedling. It has to be 100% pure oil and not jamaican black oil. According to Derek there doesn't seem to be any better results for hair growth past 2-3 ml daily and anything past 5 ml is liable to give you loose bowels.
We're do you mean by cycle? I think it takes longer than two weeks. Probably taking a bit of Castol oil for a month would be better to see if there is a resultDon't you have to cycle the oil if taking orally? I was taking it for almost two weeks but didn't see any difference. Does anyone have a good brand to recommend?
For example, take three weeks at first, and then stopped using it for another 3 weeks. Repeat the cycle. MPMD mentioned doing this as increasing PGE2 may not be good in the long run if taking it every day. We're do you mean by cycle? I think it takes longer than two weeks.
