Why haven't the side effects showed on clincal studies?

The question if finasteride is godsend or the devils work for us has and will keep on being debated on hairloss forums. There are studies who point in the direction of neurlogical damages and permanent imbalances of the endocrine system, but these studies, I have noticed are usually done on a very low number of patients (often only about 3-5) which means you will not get a reliable result.

Are there such studies? Can you cite some of them for me?

Do people believe that merck have been clever enough to fabricate these studies?

I don't think thats being too conspiratory. Think of how much money there is to be made with this drug. It wouldn't at all surprise me if numbers were fudged or people in the FDA got paid off. I'm not saying it happened, I'm just saying it's possible. I am on finasteride right now so I hope to God it is indeed safe in the long term.

why do people love to pinpoint finasteride as being so dangerous?

what about birth control, that effects hormones too. where are all the horror stories and "conspiratory research" on that?

propecia (like hundreds of other drugs) effects everyone differently. if you experienece side effects stop taking it. but yes, i believe it is SAFE for most people.

For me finasteride has been completely safe and I highly recommend it!
