Why is there always the one bald guy...

I notice every time I talk about baldness on other forums that are unrelated to balding, something happens.

Doesn't matter what the forum is about.

What will happen is there will be a thread by a guy who mentions something about using finasteride or minoxidil to stop his balding. Cue the rapid fire amount of posts saying "That **** will kill ur dick" "ur balls will explode" "you will become a woman!" etc etc. We all know that the fearmongering will always happen.

I chime in. I try to be the voice of reason, point to the studies, point to my own personal use, try to give the OP some hope. And then, inevitably...

A "sly" guy, usually in his 30s or 40s appears and tells me that it wasn't UNTIL he went bald that he became a babe magnet. That's right- once all of his hair fell off and he shaved it, he just could not keep women off of him! It was his hair that was holding him back, you guys! Even in his teens and 20s when he had a full or mostly full head of hair...nope, women just did not want him. Once he hit his 30s and went "sly", he couldn't keep up with the amount of women that wanted to bang the living **** out of him! I even had one guy tell me right after he shaved his head, he had his first orgy with- get this- 11 women! Can you believe it? All those years with his ****ty hair wasted, he could have went "sly" and ****ed 11 girls in one night!

I am not even exaggerating here, but I am wondering where this absolute BS comes from. I assume overcompensation. I can believe that a guy's life is not over because he shaved his head, I can believe a shaved head looks better than holding onto a tiny tuft of hair, but I am getting real sick of this "it wasn't UNTIL I went bald that women wanted me" that somehow suggests to guys going through a balding crisis that their hair is actually ruining their sex appeal, when a quick google search will reveal what women really think about balding (and shortness).

I'm wondering if you guys have had these encounters too.

We have a couple of those here. One is one of my compatriots (not Dante). He affirms that he is a part of a circle of friends who are "chick magnets" although they are all cue balls and short, if I am not mistaken.

Yeah, yeah

ps: if they are happy, I am happy... But of course there is no proof to this BS

That guy really wants to believe that baldness is irrelevant. It's very important to him, he's holding on to the belief for dear life.

Similarly, if you post a comment about abortion be certain that the religious people will flock to it.

I haven't read your post full still..

When I was balding,in nw3/4 era..
I was considered unattractive..
I am now in nw6..
A style closer to shaven look..
Few told me I look better now.
Okay .I repeat..few.
I love this few.
So yes..it's true that when you become too bald .
Many will lose that hair loss worry...
And may score with girl who have beautiful heart..if not dating,he can easily be friends with such beautiful girls.
I had very little female frnds when I was in college.
Now I have many..
I even considered this as a win..

My relatives get shock when they see girls coming to my home for dinner, something like that.
Considering my hairloss level at my age. There are no bald young man in my relative below 30.

I believe your post..
Thin hairs look worst...

Forgive me but if you want a shaven look you should shave, I don't think the horseshoe is aesthetically equivalent to a shaved head. It is just the ugliest thing you could sport on your head, TBH...

i agree with sahubraj

the sly guys are exaggerating how much better a shaved head is to a grown out horseshoe. also affirming their own decision to take that drastic a step

In my experience, life didn't start until I started going bald.

Some lucky bastards just suit the sly look.
Again.. One size does not fit all.

I believe this guy, he just left out the part that it cost him $2200 to do so.
