Why is there no candidate who stands up for bald men?

No candidate ever talks about issues relevant to bald people like increasing hairloss research, subsidizing finasteride, etc.

We need a political revolution, a political revolution that says when millions of bald men come together, including those who have given up on their hairloss treatment—they’re so dismayed and so frustrated with the side effects—with young people who before had never experienced hairloss, when young people and working people and seniors begin to stand up and say loudly and clearly, "Enough is enough," that our government, the government of our great country, belongs to all of us and not just a handful of fullheads—when that happens, we will transform this country.

Do you really think this is likely to happen?

Do I smell another B.S. supporter among us?
I'ld try even bovine defecation if I thought it would improve my hair.

Be sure you apply it generously in order to effectively feel the anti-DHT burn.

"A handful of fullheads"! But they sadly represent the majority.

Because most baldies mistakenly believe that by not acknowledging the effect hair loss has on them publically they are saving face and preserving some dignity (- as if such a thing in conjunction with baldness even exists).

Because most are still stuck with the outdated patriarchal mindset that dictates men shouldn't (be seen to) care about their looks or admit to any form of weakness. Ironically, this creates an infinite loop where they want and need a cure but can't admit to it, resulting in no one really doing anything about it.

That's just why our generation might not see a cure in time. The coming generations, less concerned with such BS, will likely be more successful. But hey, at least we'll be "real manly men", right?

The crazy part is we wouldn't even need to expose ourselves. Spreading awareness could be done completely anonymously as long as people were invested. First thing we'd need is an exhaustive compilation of psychological and sociological research on hair loss, specifically its correlation with depression, social anxiety, suicide, etc. Cold, hard numbers with which to argue our case.

You could give the most eloquent, logical argument for a hair loss cure but until the veil of prejudice is lifted from their minds they will not hear it.

True!! But it's also a veil of ignorance that, unfortunately, will never be lifted from the blessed privileged full heads.

One thing to note is that this presidential election is full of low-quality hairlines.

Ted Cruz
Marco Rubio
Donald Trump
Bernie Sanders

And Hillary Clinton looks like she's wearing a wig.

I generally get the ignorant aspect of a full head. If I am honestly looking at it from a place in my life when I had a full head of hair, ( feels like a lifetime ago) then I share a perspective that fairly characterizes my mindset at the time.

Conversely I have a hard time relating to the arrogance morphing from positions of privilege.
If adversity defines the strength of our character (or lack of) entitlement, then I suppose it also exposes our naïve notions of social equality and/or a future reality where fair treatment is fairly distributed.
One of the enduring precepts I have learned from experience is that fair treatment was never an universally intrinsic human trait.

Yet in one form or another, we all want a piece of it.
Many of us come to find that fairness again is not genuinely observed as a human right,
but rather yet another human privilege.

I.D WALKER, you truly have a clear perspective of reality. I see where you're coming from about the arrogance morphing from positions of privilege, anyone well knows if they're privileged with any certain thing but may act ignorant about it. Fairness does really seem to turn out as a privilege rather than a right, at this point I think having full equality only applies if you don't have any unappealing qualities as they tend to outweigh the good ones in our day and age, at least from what I've observed.

I have to re-read your posts and still barely understand half of it. It's really hard to understand your posts for non-natve users of English like myself.

Well no worries Sheraz, I get that from self described English speakers as well. You're doing well if you're getting half of them.

I'll do my best to assist you in the translation of my post(s) if ever you'll up for the task.

What is your native language Sheraz?

However if I'm to responsibly adhere to the tenets of objectivity, then I am obliged to admit that I am very much a challenging project in progress,
and most mornings are spent trying to retrace my steps back to a more balanced outlook.

Beautiful tonal tongue (Punjabi).
Reviewing your previously posts I would judge your English is more advanced than you realize or you're simply a modest linguist enthusiast.
I'm always looking forward to constructive criticism. So keep it coming my trilingual fellow baldite.

Haha sure. You seem to be a genuinely nice person, very decent and polite. What's your profession? I have this picture of you in my mind where you are sitting on a desk with computer, logged on to hairlosstalk and there are some romantic books on the table beside PC which are authored by you!
