Will dying hair another colour make any difference?

I'm p!ssed off with how crap and boring my hair has become since this male pattern baldness started to take a hold, plus using all the treatments etc.

Doing something with it would give me a lift. Even if it's only for a short time.

If you die hair darker, does it diguise your hairloss better?

I'm just wondering if dying it from a darkish blonde, to a darker colour, like black would make any difference?

I've heard it could harm the hair, but I feel I need a change with it.

I've been back on the minoxidil for over 2 months now, signs, so far so good.

but I feel I just want to do something mad/different with the hair.

Anyone have any experience at all?

I would think that you're better off leaving your hair blonde. I would think light skin and dark hair would provide for a bad contrast if you have thinning hair.

i know you said you have short hair( i also looked at your pics)but what i have done with my hair is,cause ima also a medium blonde,i highlighted the tips of my hair a super light blonde.people dont really notice the thinning that much cause my hair has so much contrast to it now.Btw my hair is only around 2 to 3inches long.

gunner,

i would suggest highliting the tips of your hair....it gives it more dimension and appears to be fuller....just for something different this is what I would suggest.

i would say use a mild gel or pomade....you know at first i thought this idea was horrible because it would only highlight the hairloss

but ive seen quite a few guys with Norwood 3-4's sporting gel in their hair and to be quite honest i thought it looked very good...sort of like a more mature metrosexual look...and to have the balls to do that showed tons of confidence on top of it
