will finasteride help frontal loss?

does anyone know if finasteride will help a receding hair line. hair all over my head is in pretty good shape but the front is awful. if its not guna do anything up front i might as well forget about it

yes, however as is the case with ALL treatments the further back you go the better they work

6 months in and my frontal area has gotten worse...not saying that there's no chance it wouldn't work for you though. You have to try and see for yourself b/c there's a good chance you could maintain what you have with Finpecia or so I've heard..I've lost more.....but I think it would be stupid to blame it on finpecia if I can't compare how my hair looks now to how it would look if I never took it in the first place.

my front has gotten worse 3 months in on finasteride...rest of the head is OK, but definite thinning up front.
