Will I Initially Lose Ground For Switching From Topical To Oral finasteride?

Topical finasteride has grown new hairs on my hairline but has not thickened any existing hairs. So if I switch from topical 0.1% finasteride to oral 1mg finasteride, will I lose any hairs I’ve grown while waiting for the 6 to 9 months oral finasteride takes to kick in?

You could do a combo of both and slowly taper off topical finasteride. I figure if it’s maintaining you, you should stay on topical finasteride. finasteride isn’t for regrowth but it’s possible. Maybe both together work? Have you tried microneedling?

Is it safe to do topical and oral at the same? Will it block too much DHT or have an increased risk of side effects? And for microneedling, I’ve thought about but never knew if I should I apply my topicals like 30min before a microneedling session or just skip topicals all together on days I micro needle.

I use Topical Finasteride but why don’t you add Folligen Copper peptide cream and hair oils alongside a derma roller? Maybe I can help you thicken the hairs.....

I been using Topical Finasteride over 10 years now, my friend uses oral 1mg every third day and 0.1% Topical Finasteride every day with even better results.

Whats your full regime?
