Bubka is still maintaing after like 7 years and there have been other ones who occassionally post. And finasteride doesn´t lose its effectiveness. It is just your male pattern baldness is getting too agressive!

the drug will always have the same amount of DHT inhibition; however, you hair follicles can become more sensitive, or begin to continue male pattern baldness with the remaining DHT that is not blocked after continual years of exposure

so YES, for some people, after having success, you can still lose hair while on the drug years later

Lets just be truthful. Its a drug. No one can tell you exactly what propecia does in the body because no one knows all the details. We know what propecia has been tested on. Your body could become used to it in some people why? who knows but it could. The usual crap like increased sensitivity to dht with age, and crap like that could be why too. Your only choice is take propecia or stop taking it. Its a chance keeping your hair is not as of today a promised thing your doing all you can.
