Will Rogaine Work?

I had no hair loss up until 11 months ago. Had rapid Telogen Effluvium which led to male pattern baldness. Thinned overall. Been on finasteride 1.00/1.25 for 6 weeks. I was wondering if I should start on rogaine to help with overall thinning and help get regrowth. Is it any more likely to get regrowth if the hair has very recently fallen out?

I know once you start you gotta stay on it.

I'd do finasteride for 6 months to a year before starting on minoxidil. Your hairloss hit you really quickly, so you have more of a chance of recovering those hairs with finasteride. If you still have thin hair after being on finasteride for a while, then add minoxidil.
