Will Shaving Interrupt The Minoxidil Shed Cycle?

Hi guys,I got the minoxidil 5% because I lost hair density due to a prescription drug that I used.I don't have male pattern baldness and I want these shitty hairs to shed and leave the follicle for good.
I want to keep my head shaved during this treatment so it can be easy to put the minoxidil on scalp.
So my question is will the shaving intervene with this shedding cycle or there is no problem?
