She never explicitly uses the term "balding" but I'm fairly certain he was going bald. I'm 99.9% sure something like this happened:
1) Husband is going bald, and woman feels less sexually attracted to him.
2) Woman asks for advice from her friends. They tell her "You should NEVER feel you're obligated to be with a man you're not attracted to".
3) Woman divorces husband she was with for 8 years and immediately starts ****ing other guys. Friends tell her "you go girl!".
4) Husband becomes morbidly depressed because, given how difficult it is for bald guys to get women to love them, he realizes this means he will be alone for the rest of his life, and he commits suicide.
