I work for a government entity and we need security badges for access around the buildings.
We got a new system and I of course got a new badge picture. I could not realize how high my hairline is, even after my hair transplant.
Recently I rebuilt our company intranet and took it over as a side thing from my normal work as no one else here really knows how to do any basic web stuff (plus I can manage most of the network side) and I refuse to (Im fighting others in the place) to farm this out for what it is as technically tax/bill payers in the city/town/state are the ones who have to pay for this and it doesnt seem right. Anyway point is I have complete access to everything.
Im here to admit I went in and digitally altered my company directory picture lol.
Im actually considered a good looking guy here and when I saw that pic with my massive forehead I wanted to throw up. I digitally lowered my hairline and put the pic up. I ran it past a co worker to see if they could tell the difference, as they and I have a good relationship and goof around a lot and they honestly couldnt tell until I pointed it out.
I cant BELIEVE the difference an inch down makes! Once Im financially more stable, as I just picked up two more rentals and a new truck, Im getting my hair loss lowered (filled in). I didnt even do any digital temple work. Just dragged my hairline straight down. Its amazing, how much better just seeing that pic made me feel inside.
I know its probably a shitty thing to do, altering your own pic, I mean GROSS abuse of power (lol) but I couldnt help it and didnt want everyone who goes through our database to see that as their image of me to be ingrained in their head.
I made a side by side with a blurred face I was going to post but honestly with the blurred face its not even worth showing.
I mean seriously just a fake/altered image picked up my self esteem..... how low do you have to actually feel already?
