Am I right that the Dodgers are looking like they're going to the WS? What's the situation on the Phillies?
Anyone know the date of the WS?
Thanks

It sucks the Red Sox and LA lost, but it's good to see new teams in it. It would have been nice to see the Cubs win it though.

Coming from NY, i would have to disagree with you. However, I totally agree with you in ticket prices. Its a real shame when the average true fan can no longer afford to go to a stadium unless he sits in the nosebleed section where he needs binoculars.EasyEd said:Cassin, the Sox fans are the best in baseball. Unfortunately, the best fans in baseball don't really get a chance to go to games because they get priced out of tickets. Going to a game at Fenway is really expensive. Outside of the tickets, you're looking at $40 to park, and $7 beers and $5 hot dogs the rest of the way...and the typical blue collar Boston fans simply can't afford that nowadays. What you see at Sox games are more of a corporate crowd who just go to say they went. The average person can't afford a night at Fenway, unfortunately. I experience this first hand during the Celts run to the finals. I had season tix, so I was there from the beginning, and the fans on day 1 of the season vs Washington were louder than the fans in the finals, in my opinion. It was the same instance...you saw way more shirts and ties during the finals than green t-shirts that you saw early in the season. Sox fans are, however, the best in baseball.
