guys im really serious about doing something about moving hair loss research on; and in a more speedier direction...

since most of you guys are quite tight with your 'dosh', why dont we all pitch in and write a letter to the chief health officer in the united states, or any other really high profile place, where we can get a response thus- from.

i need some ideas, on making a really hard hitting letter. so that the government can release some of its financial muscle towards the cloning avenue. just think how many people can benefit, just by being saved from, and even sometimes years of depression, now thats definately a serious issue there.

there have been similar attempts where people have made some noise about the government pitching in more. the common responses have been; ''oh its not life threatning'' and ''its only an cosmetic issue''. which in my view is only a severly played down response to not shell out any money.

i think many of you will agree with me, and you know deep down we really have to take the first steps, otherwise we will jus all trundle along in minature steps jus like our vellous hair, and who knows how long it will take then.

propecia gives you a soft penis, and minoxidil- to me, jus seems like, it only makes the hair cycle, and grow faster, thats all. plus it gives most that use it a very bad itch. aren't you guys sick of using these treatments. with the hair cloning thing you can jus pop along to your Doctor and ask for however much hair you want.

what i need from you guys is ideas or even contributary sentences, where i can compile a rather large letter; highlighting the need and utter frustration at the lack of progress in this field.

why spend millions sending people to the moon; when you cn spend millions and benefit a much broader scope of mankind. the priorities need to be set aright!! surely this is a more worthier cause.

if the goverment can back an elite group or send more ( and i mean big time; long term perpetual funding) we could all see an end to this pretty soon.

think about what im saying guys; all ive seen recently in these forums; is ''im depressed'' etc ''this aint working'', ''oh i think i can see some new hairs shooting'', only to lose it at the next shed mind you...

Guys dont just sit on your asses, lets try and redirect a small portion of the taxes that are taken in our name and make it work to recipricate some form of happiness for us in return.

Maybe the HairLossTalk.com team that moderate this forum can help move along things in the right direction; i know you guys have vast knowlege and are quite proactive in this regard. although people havent taken up, to donating there money towards Johada et al, who are doing fantastic work, its people like them that we need to redirect some of the governmets taxes towards.

theres many ideas i have, and if no one takes this post to positively, ill do something in a years time regardless, im in university now tryna finish off a masters degree in finance. so i pretty much have an idea of how to get money etc. ill even think about setting up a fund which ill try and float on the stock market, where ill use primary funds to intravenously extrapolate in ot larger funds (in other words use money to breed money. ill invest in other companies and redirect the dividends to another cause namely ''hairloss research'' of course. why you may ask?

well i wanna see an end to this as much as you guys want im sure of that. dont you wanna wake up in the morning and feel young at heart and feel happy.

well its up to you guys, you play your own destiny. but remeber you get only one worldy life and you can either live it half hearted or live it happily.

any comments positive or negative, are most welcome as always.

yours sincerly John.

i would love

I think pharma companies are spending a lot of research into finding a cure for baldness -- it's a very, very large market and relatively untapped. The potential is immense.

But I think they're running into problems as correcting hair loss is not easy. Hormonal drugs have so many consequences, and in general, gene therapy is just budding.

Of course, we play our own destiny. But it takes a certain amount of wisdom to realize that there's more to life than a full head of hair. And to understand this is a move in the right direction.
