Up the dose. .5 MG. Don't listen to meme reddit science stating .25mg is enough, it usually isn't. I read in Korea that they prescribed it at .25 but keep in mind Asians are typically lower test. If you are European, .25 is dangerously low with risk of having unsatisfactory effects on hairloss. Try either 3 1mg per week or .5 every day. There are these 2 guys on YouTube who advise the first idea but I'd go with a consistent dose of .5. If that doesn't work then just try 1 MG or jump on dutasteride.

Keep in mind finasteride has varying degrees of success. About 90% see a stop in hairloss or slow down. But some don't respond at all.

Actually finasteride might raise your testosterone by 10%-15% if you take 7mg per week (1 mg per day). Obviously the raise in testosterone wouldn't be as big if you go the 1 mg thrice a week or the .5 mg per day route.

Do you have any evidence backing up that .25 mg is not enough?

.25 can be enough for some people. As I said before in Asia they often prescribed it in .25mg but I think Asian men are typically not as high test.

The doctors on YouTube also say their starting dose is 1mg 3x a week, ideally you want 1mg going in as a lot of it metabolised by the liver. Try 1mg 3 times a week, it will build up in your system overtime, also don’t keep changing doses as you run the risk of shedding again, stick to a regimen for at least 3-6 months before deciding any changes if you have no sides.
