I feel like this is a MAJOR breakthrough and is overlooked. It goes hand in hand with needling and could possibly explain why needling works (especially at certain needle lengths which prick the follicles). I'd be willing to try this with needling as we are doing in numbers guy thread.

These immune cells, termed macrophages, then release a cell-signalling molecule, termed TNFα, which stimulates the regeneration of all nearby hair follicles, resulting in a 5-fold increase in hair growth"
