would nizoral cream be any use?

sorry if this is a stupid question, but wuold applying nizoral ketoconazole cream on your head help in any way with the hair loss?

would it be bad to use it without having any actual skin problem?

It would grow hair. There are some studies outhere with good results...
Can you provide a link with that product?

I think you're being a bit overly optimistic in saying that it WOULD grow hair. I think the chances of it NOT growing hair are a bit stronger. It may be a good adjunct treatment to use with finasteride/minoxidil, but if you're planning on using this by itself, I wouldn't count on it doing a hell of a lot.

not studies, one study. and it doesnt really prove beaner wrong.

it showed that 2 out of the 6 participants had good regrowth, one had minor regrowth, one had no visible change, and the other two keep receding as normal. so there is a chance it will regrow hair, and a chance it will not.

i am using this cream, as an experiment. i am using it in place of spironolactone and will see if it has a positive or negative effect on my hair.
