Would this be classed as diffuse thinning?

Hi all,

I previously posted a couple weeks ago regarding the status of my hair.

As it’s grown longer since my haircut I have been moderately monitoring it.

I have attached some pictures and I appear to have a weird thin patch in the middle of my hair. I have quite straight hair so whether this makes a difference I have no idea.

I basically don’t really have a hair specialist I could see in my area (Not that I know of)

Judging from all of you guys experience, would you be able to confirm what kind of hairloss pattern this may be and if so, what treatments you would recommend?

I have just turned 24 and my maternal uncle had gone bald aswell as my maternal grandfather who lost some, but not all of his hair. My father still has NW1 with no loss whatsoever.

I have attach an array of photos to see if this can be determined. As an FYI, my hair is definitely not as thick as it was 4 years ago.

Everything looks fine except for that third picture. I don't think that is just a whorl pattern. Does the hair feel thinner there?

Then maybe it's just the picture. The rest of your hair looks good. If anything just keep an eye on it. Check it weekly with photos.

Chris Mullin cut his hair like that and I remember the announcers outing him as a member of the early alopecia club like them, purportedly when he was the opposite and had amazing hair that he wore like a Marine. Talk about hair being wasted on bums; service members don't need their hair and many of them have fine heads of hair, like sigh my Marine Corps father with his electric clippers that he terrorized Will with. Good memories as to when he made me wear it no longer than my ears and it was my last chance and when I got to Europe, I was only a pale imitation of the hair I had left behind.

Me thinks this guy is good to go and the hair line looks safe to me in general.

I have thinning in that same spot. It's in the forelock. Looks like the begining of the classic "island" pattern
