Hi all, around 3 years on minoxidil, 9 months on finasteride 1mg/day. Started minoxidil right when i noticed crown/hairline corners thinning. Hopped on finasteride once that thinning started to accelarate.
finasteride has completely thickened my crown, my only signs of loss are my hairline corners which you really can't tell by how i style my hair. However, one side is worse than the other and if i pull my hair back, you can clearly see a bit of loss on that side.
It's didficult to tell if it has gotten worse. Everywhere else has improved, and i have maintained minoxidil use. Anybody else in a similar boat? Can hairline results come in around a year? On one hand, i think the corner would have got much worse if finasteride wasnt working, but then again i have no idea where my hair would be without finasteride.
