Hi all, around 3 years on minoxidil, 9 months on finasteride 1mg/day. Started minoxidil right when i noticed crown/hairline corners thinning. Hopped on finasteride once that thinning started to accelarate.

finasteride has completely thickened my crown, my only signs of loss are my hairline corners which you really can't tell by how i style my hair. However, one side is worse than the other and if i pull my hair back or if it short, you can clearly see quite a bit of loss on that side.

Im going to wait to see how it looks around a year, but anybody have crown results on finasteride and move to dutasteride, and then see more hairline improvement? Im 25 y/o

Both 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors are good for maintaining the hair that you have. If you're doing good on Finasteride, then there's no need to move to Dutasteride.

Well that's the problem. Crown has significantly improved but hairline corners are slowly getting worse, unless those results don't kick in until a year.

When my crown filled in so quickly, i was expecting success would come in other areas too
