I feel it's going to be a boutique treatment that you get at the derm hence the heavy handed marketing (app, design, typeface, etc), I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see this in the news.

I think the marketing is just to establish its relevance. Rogaine has def penetrated a younger demographic target market in the past couple years. Propecia is still unheard of to a lot of late teens early 20 balding men.

I think what they're trying to do with this is take away that whole stigma related to balding. So they amped up the marketing and packaging crew in order for the product to be easy on the eyes to appeal to any balding age group.

It's not really surprising if they wind up not sharing all of that until phase 3 is completed.

In my eyes, Follica is nothing but smoke and mirrors. It's just smart marketing to keep their investors around.

Their technology is outdated by now anyways. They were working on their product back in 2006 when Aderans begun. A lot has happened since then and Follica didn't even bother to release the results of their last trial completed in 2012. They just dropped a line that they were able to create a brand new hair follicle!

I think Shiseido will be our saviour in 2019. We can all then either wait a few more years for Tsuji or just get a minor touch up hair transplant done and move on.

hey man, sorry if u already said this to me, but could follica work as a maintenance treatment by itself? regrowth would be great, but i happy to just maintain with something that doesnt mess with my hormones and get a couple hair transplants to fill in the balding areas

Thinking back a few months ago to the images that were released for the phone app ... I wonder if that app not only reminds you when/how often to apply the topical but also tells you the optimal window to begin after the initial scalp abraision happens.
That would make more sense to have an app to tell me when to actually begin my at home portion. An app to remind me about daily application seems to gimicky
