There's a real culture of acknowledgement and hatred of hypergamy on here, as if it exists only among females, yet the guys on here who refer to themselves as a physical abomination seem to feel they should be doing better than well, anything, anything they can get.
I didn't initially agree with blackg about that chick on first glance, but now on second look I see what he means, and even good looking friends of mine think my standards can be too high. What kind of celebrity culture world are these guys living in? Not every chick looks like an actress or model, on top of that I've known plenty of good looking or average women who lose 2 points in photo's, but any guy would bang them. This one could actually be quite hot in real life.
I know @CaptainForehead has at least acknowledged to me that the "final nail" as he see's it for finding a woman, is the fact he values what he wants way over what his worth is. That's at least awareness.
Another thing is that guys who are quite judgemental over an actual real woman's looks, have never been with one. You have to understand how a naked girls face becomes so much hotter, when she has a body, which the vast majority of them do.
I'll give an anecdotal example to represent how I feel on this.
When I was about 20 a legit Chad 9/10 friend of mine was seeing this fairly chubby average looking girl, which he and our group often acknowledged or piss-taked that this was kinda funny, like he could do a lot better. So the thing with her lasted a few months and the ribbing continued long after (which I didn't really partake in) but with his own self-deprecation it was all in good fun.
One night he lost it a little bit and in possibly bad taste he got his laptop out, pulled up a picture of her bent over in underwear on his bed.
Everyone shut the hell up right there and then.
Never spoken about again.
We all know and can imagine how slim pretty looking girls look naked from p**rn and generally trying to imagine it, but something in our brains does not associate less attractive women facially with how hot they could be to actually f***. And we may hate this, but that's why we regularly see so many attractive guys with less attractive women.
Hey, if he's happy, and getting off on it like any red blooded male would, then let him be.
The rest of us (me included) are constantly trying to trade up for our trophy and respect from society, in reality if we didn't give a sh*t what others think, we'd "settle" for women that turn us on in the unconventional ways that society tells us we shouldn't be attracted to.
