Get a transplant man, you're only NW2. It will buy you a couple years until brotzu lotion gets it's sh*t together, or hopefully histogen/sheisido.

On the surface it seems logical to exhaust all options before shaving it all off.

But is it so?

For young guys like OP who still has a lot of hair but is aggressively balding, taking a pre-mature transplant at an early stage might leave you no way out, even with fue. You may:

1. Create an island of transplants with gaps behind, which gets you in a lock-in situation where you have to do transplants continuously and live under constant stress, which is not really different from rapid hair loss itself.

2. Exhaust your donor too soon due to the lack of judgement from clear final pattern or wrong expectation, or simply because you mess up (which is unlikely if going to a top surgeon). This combined with 1 will make your scalp appearance basically beyond redemption. We all know what those deeply receded temples sides with none existent parietal bridge on NW6/7 look like.

So what do you do? Logically, you wait until your loss stabilize or become significant enough with final pattern emerging.

But wait... isn't that the same as saying, sit duck and keep suffering while you wait to be bald???

Balding people to whom medication doesn't work out lives nightmares.

I have seen women stand by men in the worse of worse times BUT these are people who have built a life together, have history.
certainly not bf/gf in 20s.
