Hello interested for opinions. it's been 10 months on the big 3. I was hoping for more progress. bit disappointed. not sure if this is good or not. can't work out what to do. today my scalp is a bit red from micro-needling so that's why. let me know what you think.

1mg finasteride daily
5% minoxidil
keto shampoo (nizoral) daily
micro needling too inconsistently for that to be factored in

Looks like you got thickening for sure. Be very happy for that. I havent gotten any thickening and continued loss on my heavier regimen. Just get hairline transplant and you will be all set. Btw you got a big doo doo head so going bald wouldnt be bad for you.

What’s your regimen? And how long have you been on it for?

I was talking to my barber yesterday and he said not to get a transplant til I’m much older (only 23) because it will cause shock loss? He said to look at oral minoxidil but in the UK that seems very difficult to get.

Do what we all do take 5 drops in a capsule and swallow the 5% minoxidill liquid. 5 drops is roughly 5mg.

You can see my regimen yourself. been on dutasteride for a year and 4 months oral minoxidil for like 4 months consistently.

The first pic looks like natural light whereas the second pic looks like artificial light? But regardless, the hair looks to have thickened and improved in color and shine (overall healthier) which is a very good sign. It may take up to 2 years to see the full impact of Finasteride so stay the course with your treatments and be patient. Consistency is key.

Also, remember that Finasteride is primarily about saving the hair you still have so you need to manage your expectations. Some younger guys are able to recover recently lost hair on the hairline but it’s not something that should be expected. What is your family history of hairloss?

oh sorry didn't notice that. have you considered adding in RU or something like that
I've heard of that ahaha but I didn't realise it was common. What about the other sh*t they put in the liquid? and what do you mix it with? do you just drink the 5 drops straight?
Its pg and ethanol totally harmless. Pg is in food you eat even. No you put 5 drops or 6 into an empty gelatin capsule and close it shut then swallow with water.

yes you're right about the light. It has got thicker yeah it feels like that but it's just the lack of regrowth that is a bit annoying. I wasn't expecting miracles but I thought the temples might fill in a little more with being young and using minoxidil too. Maternal side is good, no male pattern baldness I'm aware of. Paternal side is bad, all NW7... Started to notice last year which hair genes I had.

0,25ml on the pipette is 12.5mg. Thats 12 drops for me so 5 drops is 5mg for me.
I’ve been reading about it and apparently it doesn’t absorb as well in the gut if you do it that way so maybe that’s affected your results? I’m not sure just a possibility

No. There is another guy that do the same and it works great for him. Many do this with results. A guy even regrew his hairline after 9 months and im harier on my hands alot harier. I never responded to topical minoxidill probably why I dont respond well to oral. But I had a massive shedding on oral minoxidill at first so I know its working.

@losingbattle88 I picture your hair similar to @wellheweare456 . Is yours worse or better?
