That’s a bad sign imo. My libido increased initially, followed by some lowered libido. Only when I quit did I experience ED. That’s why it’s called post finasteride syndrome.
recovered now but I only took it for a year. RIP you lot at 10+years
I have no plan to stop taking it so doesn't matter to me

Sure buddy. I’m out here getting thickening using supplements only while you’re crushing DHT.

Then you don’t have severe male pattern baldness

Not everyone who gets hairloss will progress to a nw6 or nw7, some people destined to only go as far as nw3 think they controlled their hairloss by using supplements or sh*t like that lol when in reality their hairloss wasn’t that bad to begin with.

Check out some of the baldies and some poor sobs have to use proper 1mg finasteride daily to arrest the severe hairloss at a young age like 17.

I didn’t have aggressive hair loss in my teens or 20’s and I’m very grateful for that but I’ve lost a hell of a lot of density in the past 5 years and was losing a few years before but didn’t notice. Each year I lose a noticeable amount now so it’s picking up now at 35. Increased body hair too. Used to be hairless. Luckily I started with a more hair than most. I am a diffuse thinner, exactly the same as my father, a Norwood 4a or more. I’ve updated some pics recently. Clear diffuse thinning everywhere and sups are giving me gains.

I’ve seen those guys balding at 17 but they aren’t my concern. I’m here to save my hair and what I’m doing is working. Decreased scalp inflammation and thicker follicles, but you’re right, it’s a routine that’s certainly not going to work for an teen with aggressive hair loss. However, many on here will benefit from it.

Hey y'all, yearly check-in as usual. I started taking Finasteride 1mg back when there was no generic, sometime around 2011.

Started when I was ~23. I'm 35 now. No sides, never had any. Lost maybe a centimeter of frontal hair since then? I'm still NW2 like I was the day I started and honestly not even worried about it anymore. I'm not balding as long as I pop this every morning.

I'm open to any questions in next couple days before I fade back into the ether because hairloss is clearly not something I need to worry about anymore.

IMO, the narrative that finasteride "only works for a few years" or even "wears off after 10 years" is mistaken. And that's the main reason I come back every year. The sh*t works, at least much of time, for life. I'm living proof.
my first time taking geenric propecia was finpecia back in 2005 it worked well... never took propecia...

I experienced a mild form of Ed for years after quitting finasteride in 2005.
