Heya, if it helps I get mine from Boots online. I don't order Propecia but simply search for finasteride. I make sure that the prescription from the doctors is for 5mg so that the finasteride that Boots give me can be chopped up into quarters.

I'm from Jersey so there is no NHS and all doctors are private. My private prescription simply means I order finasteride online, send Boots the prescription and they send me the finasteride. The brand I receive is called: Almus.

I actually don't exactly recall how much it is, but it's very cheap!

I am only using half the recommended volume per application which makes it last longer my friend. £300 (what the full amount would cost) isn't exactly cheap when I pay £40 for a year of finasteride (Fincar)

So do you only apply it once a day instead of twice or do you just apply small amounts? Results look great so I wanna follow your regimen

The instructions says 1mL at night only on affected areas 2hrs before going to sleep. 1mL of the cream is actually quite a lot so I've been using 0.5mL to the hairline area at night and that seems to be enough.

and yes, the hairs thickened up so quickly I felt I had to share the good news (Feb 7th to Feb 25th)! I actually had my hair cut between those pictures as well! I'm still improving and will try to give pictures at least once a month.

Nearly a month since my last photo. Here is another. I have my first follow-up appointment (in two days time) with the hair specialist since starting minoxidil. Hopefully they will agree that it looks promising.
