I am bumping this, op if u still use this account, can u please tell me whats up with ur hair now. The thing is, I have a similar problem to yours, my hairline hurts a lot and its receding, people are saying male pattern baldness but they say nothing bout having sensitive and painful hairline and hair being really fragile and breaking.
